After she parked, the driver side door popped open and her two legs appeared dangling over the rushing water flowing under the car. I stuck my head out the door and lightly called out, “Over here” she stepped out and I could hear her voice shriek when her toes hit the water. She came running to the sidewalk in her bare feet holding her shoes and bag in her hands. I held the door open so she could run directly inside. She playfully screeched running down the walkway blowing past me shooting into the apartment.
